In the Arab speaking countries, which are mostly male dominated societies, the majority of women are deprived from their legal rights, and quite often abused physically and emotionally, hence suffering low self esteem and disgrace.
AWEMA’s goal is to minister to women spiritually and emotionally, to equip them and encourage them to have an active role in their families, churches and societies.
This is accomplished through:
* organizing regular conferences, retreats.
* leadership training seminars which offer teaching, Christian counseling and guidance, and encourage women to establish discipleship and support groups within their local churches.
